This is a mixture of science and being a bit subjective so bear with me while I attempt to answer this. Quick background: I have an electrical engineering degree and have always been fascinated with light reflection and refraction. Thankfully scopes and other optic products lend themselves perfectly to this passion. I have also been a shooter for over 40 years and have owned and used many different scopes, binoculars and spotting scopes for short, mid and long-range shooting. Recently I was trying to find a good quality product for long distance shooting. I wanted a product that didn't break the bank but still had precise tracking, was durable and had clear glass. I remember years ago there was a manufacturer from Japan that used pounding a nail through a board to demonstrate how robust their scopes were. I always loved that and wanted to see if I could find something similar in today's market. I hunted to try and find it but just kept falling short. It is funny, at the end of the day I ended up spending more on bad product then I would have if I just bought a really high-end model. That wasn't the point of the exercise though. I guess the point I am trying to make is that it is hard to wade through the sea of product in the hopes of finding a diamond in the rough. I did give up my pursuit because I thought with my engineering and business background, I should be able to build something that would hit the mark. That is what I did, we found some of the best components from all over the planet and with a little magic built something that we are all so proud of. We have scopes that have been tested against repeated shots from a 50BMG, a .338 lapua , 30-6, .308 etc. each time returning to a perfect zero. This is because we are using precision turrets and internal tracking mechanisms. Our optical clarity is crazy amazing! We have put our scopes against some of the top glass in the industry. Now I should say, there are scopes in the multiple thousands of dollar price range that may fair a little better with chromatic aberration, but they are so close you may not be able to determine it without equipment. In our price range, which is well under $1000, I would say you can't touch our products for clarity, durability and precision. We have used science to prove this to ourselves, but the subjective part is knowing and seeing it for yourselves. Please remember that we have built these products for you, we wanted to make sure that you don't waist your hard-earned money gambling on something that nine times out of ten is just garbage.
